I just took a trip to my aunt's house in Crivitz, WI. She had the most BEAUTIFUL pond. Her new hubby helped her make it. It's sort of natural--they just dug down to the water level and built a bridge over it with arbors on either end. There were squash vines and morning glory vines growing intertwined on the arbors. They hung huge baskets filled with flowers hanging from the railings of the bridge. There was a fountain at one end, and lights on the bridge at night. I was envious! Their pond alone was almost as big as my entire lot. Course, they live out in the country on 40 acres, so they have more space to play with. I don't think I got any pictures of just the pond, but we took family pix on the bridge. I left the pix with my folks to get them developed rather than risk them getting ruined by x-ray machines in the airport. I'll see what pix I have soon. My mom mailed them to me yesterday... In the meantime, I think I need to find me a bigger piece of property!
