Don't know why they are so pointed!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Most all of the other brugs that I have all have rounded bud ends. This one (unknown) has the most pointed buds on it! Is this normal and I just haven't paid any attention to the others? Is there a certain kind that has pointed buds like this?
Probably no big deal, but just thought I would ask.
TIA

Yep, some of them have pointed buds. The versicolors do, I know, but there may be more. I'm still a beginner, although an obcessed one!

Same with pods, they all grow in different shapes. Arborea buds look like that, maybe a little thinner. Your brug is looking so good!

How do you grow your Brugs in pots or directly in the ground...do they want shade or sun...or both...Whats best for them. I'm new to Brugs don't have any yet but want to learn what I can about them...and I thought someone said you don't fertilize them much.... I keep reading everthing yall post so I guess thats the place to start..... :o)

WillowWasp, the best you can do is sit down and read through 90% of the posts in this forum. Feed heavy. I grow mine in pots in the ground, others grow straight in the ground, others in pots, and most of us all of the above.

Here's a general primer: http://www.brugmansias.org/newtobrugs.html but it won't cover all your questions. After you start growing them, you'll have even more questions:)
