My water lilies blooms are turning brown the first day
they open! I have never seen this before. First noticed
it with the red ones but now all of them are showing heat
damage. The lotus' leaves are turning brown all around
the edges and even the tropical lily is showing distress.
We've had one of the longest heat spells anyone can
remember and have broken record temps across the province.
We've hit over 100F a number of times now but the forecast
finally is for cooler temps-fall is approaching...hopefully
will be able to enjoy a few more blooms before it comes!
On a brighter note our hyacinths are blooming :~)-at least
one plant is happy!
