Looking good sure hope it is the correct brug! Both are beauties!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

albutilon and tig, both are beautiful. I just got this plant so I can't help on ID.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Just gorgeous!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I would say yes, it is Rosabelle. The leaves are larger as on the other R-plants and have a glossy surface. Rosabelle is easy distinguished by the upward pointing flower stalk and its foliage.

Thanks Bonnie and Monika.

The tag on this plant had faded to blank when I checked bloom yesterday.
I thought I remembered Rosabelle, just wanted to know sure.
It's certainly a pretty one (o:

As for fading tags ..
Martha Stewart markers found US at KMart for $1.99 are excellent for 'no fade' writing.
We used on the tree tags for the cannas several years now.
Tags have deteriorated after a couple years ..lol .. but writing still excellent (o:

Ooooh, Ooooh and Aaaaaah!!! I love the pinks. That is really pretty. Don't think I have that one but I do have some offspring! :)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Very pretty Alice. I like the blooms that nod instead of hang. Those long spurs are very nice too. I hope she is one whose blooms last a long time. I'd enjoy watching her.

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Anyone know the origin for Rosabelle?
I like knowing details.

Just downloading my card. Here's another view.
I am liking this brug much (((o:

I love Rosabelle too, I love them all.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Gorgeous Alice. I like the way it hangs too. Pretty color!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I think Rosabelle is one of the "R" babies from Rothkirch... isn't she?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

She is! Its Rothkirch x Ocre.

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Sue and Monika.
I made the reverse cross in May. ..Ocre x Rothkirch. lol

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

How in the world do you know by looking at a picture which one is which? They are all beautiful, but most of the pinks look so much alike. Maybe someday when I have grown them and have seen them bloom, I'll know the difference.

Milo, IA(Zone 5a)

She is certainly a beauty. I'm partial to pink too, though.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Ocre x Rothkirch is a top cross. I keep my fingers crossed for you. Crosses made the other way around often bring different looking progeny but by own experience, the quality of it is the same, sometimes even better. I am very curious to know, if you are going to have just as many Pinks or more Yellows.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Alice, is it Ocre New?

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Hi tiG ..
Yes, Ocre New ..New Ocre.
Sorry for that )o;

Well that pod isn't ready yet, but it is fat. ha
I will try to keep track of pinks and yellow depending if I can grow out all these seedlings. lol
Thanks Monika (o:

I crossed both Rosabelle and RK to that 'to green' Snowbank last night just for an 'out there' cross.
Curious to know if these supposed tetrapoid seeds might grow.

I will probably just call that green tetraploid brug 'Greenbank'.(Dan/TN's first name suggestion).
It is the only choice to tie it to Snowbank from where it came.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

can't wait to see what you get!!!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

ditto!!!

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Such a pretty pink in this

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I keep coming back for a look now and then. I love this bloom.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Ditto on what tiG said. Best of luck to you!

(Zone 5a)

I have no idea what your plant is, being very new to brugs but I think it's very lovely.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Lovely pictures abutilon, Rosabelle is a beauty.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Hi Alice! this is one of my favorites too, it just blooms and blooms. I love the ones that have another flush ready to go, when the spent flowers are all gone.

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

Love everything about that flower, Alice. Anxious to see what your new cross brings. Wish it didn't take so long to grow those seedlings to the flowering stage. Yup...Me and Everybody else. LOL
