That's pretty! I'm going to get some cannas next season; haven't seen many in yards around here - definitely under-utilized. How short is "short"? How big is this bloom?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

The flowers are good sized and the plant is about 2 feet tall. Can be ordered from Brent and Beckys bulbs

Thank you for the info and very nice website!

Do you recommend waiting until the spring to buy the bulbs?

Kyle:

I'm in zone 10b. Can I plant cannas year round?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

delecie you should be able to leave them in the ground all winter in zone 10 mulch the tubers in very cold weather.

Thank-you Kyle. Is it too late in the year for me to plant them now?

delecie check with a local nursery where you live. They can tell you better about your area. :-)
