I wonder if anyone is using corn gluten meal as a pre-emergent and is anyone growing a hyssop "agastache?" I planted four and the lavender smells and tastes like licorice. Comments please

I tried to grow it last year, but it didn't like all the rain we get here. The bees went nuts over it while it lasted though. Where are you from?
What do you mean pre-emergent?

Agastache is wonderful. It makes a good herb tea. The bees and butterflies always flock to it. There are many kinds of agastache. I do grow several different kinds.
