DRACULA is teething?

Good grief,I think my Shadow has turned into Dracula!

Do pups go thru a teething stage that is painful? How long does it last? (or how long will I last?) He has plenty of toys and chewies and exercise but he will moan and start chomping everything in site, including, ouch! me! When he bites, I stick a toy in his mouth, but I'm not always that quick! I've heard that ice cubes are good, they last 1 or 2 but the moaning, barking, crying--is he in pain? Would childrens asprin help?

(Maybe Shark WAS correct, lol)
