I love this plant! It has had it tough this summer but it is still doing great!

Sure looks great. I can't wait to get started next year. Something is up with the weather and up here in the upper midwest, the brugs just aren't wanting to bloom.

Shirley I think its like here, We just haven't had the heat and sun this year.

I just love Rosabelle. She's bloomed all summer for me, one flush after another.

We have had the heat and the sun, just no rain. I'm wondering if the brugs are balking at the chlorine in the water. I ran out of rain water very early in the season because we didn't get a lot of rain last fall or snow melt to fill the cistern. Hope I spelled that right.

I have waited weeks for the buds to open on the only brug I have that seems to want to bloom--and by ten this morning it had fried the first three to open on this flush...seems like real rural summer heat was late getting here but is trying to play catch up. lovely blooms Tlynn.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

This is another one giving me problems. She has bloomed only twice about a month apart. Not really growing but not showing any signs of being unhealthy. I will pot her up too. Maybe these 2 don't like full sun and are less heat tolerant. Butterfly seems to love the heat and full sun. She's doing great and only a few feet from EP.

Every brug Tracey has is huge and lush!!! You need to have a brug nursery Tracey!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I love Rosabelle and yours is so pretty and green with beautiful blooms.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Another stunner! I don't think I have that one yet, but I do have some offspring. Hope they turn out as nice!

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

None of my plants, daylilies, cannas, etc. have bloomed like they usually do this summer. In fact, the cannas haven't bloomed at all. They all get full sun, lots of water and fertilizer, etc., but they still aren't blooming. I had never thought about it before until reading the previous post about chlorine in the water, but we not only have lots of chlorine, but San Antonio recently added fluoride to the water as well. Do you think this could be the problem?
