6 cuttings from Crestedchik

Mount Angel, OR(Zone 8a)

I traded some small daphne plants with Karyn for brugmansias cuttings and one rooted plant. The six cuttings she sent have all rooted and I can see how hooked I can become. I have potted these cuttings in regular potting soil, now the questions, how do I feed these new plants? I will have to overwinter them in my house, any special tricks I need to know? tiG and kell had sent me cuttings last year and we had a very early hard frost and I lost all my brugs. I don't want that to happen again.

Many thanks Crestedchik, Karyn!!!

When my computer crashed I lost all my links to Callas site and BGI
They both are excellent sites to give you tips on growing them out to be beautiful

The main thing is to FEED!Anything you can,Manure tea,Miracle Grow or what ever concoction you can come up with......They are HEAVY eaters.......and as they grow move them on to larger pots.......

You might not want to feed them too much since it is so late in the season and they will be bigger to store. When is your first frost Joann?

I had some living in my dining room all winter last year. They did well, kept growing. I find they will stay small if you keep them in 4 inch pots and just keep them watered. Then when I move them up to a bigger pot size they just take off so quickly, making up for lost time.
