Since I'm new to the newer varieties of brugs, will someone tell me the name of a beautiful pale pink one? I love all the pinks, and I've received several, but I'm looking for a very pale pink one. Wish a pale pink double was available. Appreciate any help you can give me.
Pale Pink Brugmansia
still a pretty pic Brugie and a great looking bush
It's beautiful. Just what I'm looking for. Where can I find one and thanks for your beautiful picture.
Hope you got my return mail.
Only Shirley would run outside in the heat for another DG'er in need (~; You're priceless Brugie!!
Vi, I'm also sweating like a stuck pig when I'm out there. This is about as tropical as I've ever seen Iowa. Almost unbearable, but I'm heading out again to check the brugs. They have already been watered 4 times today and will need it again about six and again at nine. Normally, 2 or 3 waterings will take care of them.
I hear you dear, you're just getting a taste of our "normal" Georgia summer, lol, just take care of yourself out there, K?
I can't believe you are watering them that much. Do you have them in pots?? I only water 1x a day unless it rains and if it is a good rain I can go a couple of days. Mine are in the ground. Brugie I think what I had as a insignis pink is the cool blush or are the whiskers to long. Here we go again

Thanks Brugie. You are another one of the very nice brug lovers that I've met on the forum. Stay cool.
Donna, we haven't had rain this summer. Probably only about 1 inch if you total the three or four times it has rained, so it is bone dry here. I have brugs in pots, but most are in the ground. It is the pots that dry out the fastest. They are planted in ProMix and most of the pots are 10-15 gallon size, but I have some huge plants too.
I'm drinking lots of bottled water and do come into the air conditioning to cool off once in a while, but I don't want to get used to it or everything might croak out there. LOL!!
Here is a picture of a single Cool Blush bloom. I'll let you decide. It isn't a very good picture.
I love Cool Blush too, I love them ALL! These plants are just amazing.
Brugie, you are having the weather this year that we (in the southeast) had last year. 2002 we had a rain deficit of 4-5 inches. This year we have made that up, plus some. Rain storms at least 4-5 times a week, temperatures have not reached 100 yet, on the other hand, the mosquitoes and slugs are rampant.
I'm not crazy about having a lot of rain like you all have had, but enough to keep things growing would sure be nice. Scares me that we might get caught up this winter, but it will be snow and ice.
I'm not sure Brugie. I'll let someone else decide if it is or not. I don't think I have had to water but 3 times since about May. We have really had the rain this year but looks like it's coming to an end or at least slowing down some anyway.
I'm confused. Is it Cool Blush or Insignis Pink or is it undecided? I have Insignis Pink that has not yet bloomed (and not a trace of a Y). Would love for it to be that beautiful pale pink. Just lovely.
I prefer a darker pink. Insignis pink is a pretty pink that is supposed to have pink up into the corolla farther than Frosty Pink. This Cool Blush is pretty in full bloom, but it's spurs are short and it is just too pale for me.
I just love all the pinks, pale, medium, or dark. Bring them on. I just thought a pale pink one would show up really beautifully at night under the lights. Of course, we don't have any lights in our backyard, but I can dream can't I?
I had Cool Blush, Pale Pink from Larry and Valley Misty Pink, I couldn't see much difference in any of them. I too prefer the darker pinks.
i had a jamaican yellow X ? threw out a couple similar to this last year. i got rid of insignis and kept 2 similar seedlings to cool blush.
