Psilo I grew some eucomis a couple of years ago & I thought they were so unique. Love that little pineapple top. I grew the bi-coloured variety & keep meaning to buy more.

bicoloured broots? what colour is that? Mine was just white.

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

I got a bi-colored one a couple years ago, wasn't terribly impressed with it. It was yellow with red tips on the flower ends, just looked like a mossy flower spike. The photo on the package looked way better than the plant.

thats all too often the case though aint it Lup! :(

The bi-coloured eucomis that I bought were really nice. They were a cream colour edged in purple. I will hunt around & see if I can come up with a photo.

I would love to know the variety, Broots. Hope you can find the name!

thats great broots. Looking at those photos I think mine is the bicoloured on too.

Has anyone ever grown them from seed?, as the plant looks like it is making plenty.

Oh fun, I always love growing something a little different. Have you ever tried clivia, broots or Psilo or lupinelover?

Bolton, Greater Manc, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

No Lenjo. I have only just plucked up the courage to grow bulbs as I have always been so bad at it. Thi syear though I had some success with tulips and the eucomis so may try something else next!

Cochrane, ON(Zone 2b)

No Lenjo, I have never tried Clivia either. I just checked out the PDB & it certainly looks like something to brighten up the indoors. A definite possibility.

I would like to but where to find the bulbs? I am not certain but Brent and Becky's Bulbs might have it.
