My Creamsicle seems to have turned more orange.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It almost looks like a GL from this view point. Though they really look entirely different.

So is this whole inner part supposed to hang down and make a fully dropped skirt?

Does anyone know the parentage?

This is sure one huge bloom! I put L'Amour on it....LOL!!! Hey Tracey, if it takes you are getting the seeds! LOL Can you imagine this huge bloom in dark pink...be still my pink heart! Or better yet, pink and orange swirl.

Susie, are you going to have a GH in Texas or would that cook the plants there? I guess you would have no need for one in a zone 10, huh??? I picture rows and rows of bruglings on all your acres! We will all have enough seeds to fill up all your acres!

Kell, no greenhouse except maybe a small one for the "true" tropicals, the ones that die if it's under 50*F. I have my shade house, all in pieces and waiting to go.
The first thing that I'm going to do(well, after I unpack the dishes and my clothes)is plant my brugs. They have been chopped back so much(if there is one more delay, you might hear me scream!) and my seedlings, especially the special ones will go right in the ground. No more lugging pots into the garage.
I know why things keep delaying us, that hurricane is dumping a lot of water on Bayview! I'd be freaking out in the middle of that storm!

I can just imagine the pics you will get Susie Q!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Susie unless you want to cut them to the ground you still have to haul them unless you are moving into zone 9. We here in 8b still get just enough cold to zap them. Good lucky with the move and hope you get everything organized in a hurry.

Kell, the skirt will drop eventually. Mine took three days to drop and turn peach. Today it was so hot here that it cooked all the blooms. At least all the tendrils are brown and ugly with some even missing. It has been a scortcher. This brug may not be one for hot weather. You pictures are so good. I'm jealous!!
