Start Now Kerrii

Valley Village, CA

Hoya kerrii, is slow to start, if you plan to, now is the time, once they start to grow they can go straight up a tree, or pole, they love to climb. Will flower best if root bound. They may have a bald vine, (no leaves) when flowering, then the leaves will grow. Keep the soil well draining, and mist often in hot weather. Norma

Dripping Springs, TX

Norma, What is your temp in Ca? I have to soak mine everyday or two with the water wand. They are in hanging baskets under a tree. I'm in Central TX. I don't think misting would work for me.
I'm glad Norma is taking the time to teach all of us. I wish I brought the teacher an apple.
