Any tips, tricks or suggestions on hand pollinating hoyas?

I'm going to attemt to use my standard response. Know where the male and female parts are, have a steady hand, a good magnifer 10X or more. Use a cat's whisker, or super fine art brush. If seeds set, cover before they dry and pop open, write down the parents name and record. There are books that will show you where to look, and they are very much like ceropegia, or stapeliad clan. These are milkweed.

Good Luck. Norma

Well there is a Bumble Bee which had fun on my compacta flowers. Stayed there for an hour stomping all over the flowers getting a nectar buzz but never seen any pollen stuck to her.

Heck let the bees pollinate, the fruit will look like a stapeliads. The seeds will fly all over, so watch that the fruit don't split, perhaps use scotch tape to hold them closed until they are ready. I have seen Dischidia fruit, very thin and narrow. The seeds scatter like dandelion seed. Norma
