Hi your are bidding on 3 amorphophallus titanum's-- the sumatran corpse flower. Extremely rare plant. Almost impossible to find in private or public collections. produces a 6 to 8 foot tall flower that smells like rotting flesh. When one of these rare plants blooms in a public arboretum or collection, it usualy gets in the local papers and thousands of people come to view it. These are 3 individual well started young plants growing in a small clay pot. They range in size (aprox) from 5 to 8 inches. They can be seperated into other pots after purchase or kept there untill next year. It will be many years before this extremely rare tropical blooms, but it will be worth the wait.Be the only kid on the block (or state)that has not 1 but 3!!! Shipping $ depends on where you are located. Please only bidders in the continental USA. Please email me for more details. Thanks
The bid is up to $71.00 now...and it has about 11 hours to go .....just type in amorphophallus titanum in Home and Garden...click on titles and discripions and your there.....hope this helps...

mlbowden, they just had a showing of one that bloomed in DC, I used to think I wanted one too, but they get 12' or better in height, only bloom 1 day, are extremely rare and delicate and stink to the heavens. Let me know if you are interested as I will soon be harvesting my dracuncula vulgaris which are also rare, grow in our climate outside and are quite unusual.
Here's the link of photos on my webpage:

You can also find these things on the webs site of www. plantdelights.com as well as many other hard to find different plants. I'm not a spokesman for them, just have ordered from them and have recieved good plants and have been satisified....
