Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

She held her blooms until I got back from Arkansas Monday.

I hope it is!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

It is different than any I've seen. Sure hope it is! It's a pretty one, looks like a big bloom?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Monika or Ludger. Does this appear to be Raffaela as it was said to be. Do you need more pics to determine. I would hate to share it and it not be named correctly.

Here's a picture of Raffaella, hybridized by Mme Blin

TiG,
The image is from the American Brug & Dat Growers page so I'm assuming its correct. I don't have this one.

Insig. Pink????

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I got this in trade from a woman in Florida.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I know, please stop me before it is too late! Thank you for sharing the pics Donna.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

What are you talking about Gloria???

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That's who I told you about getting brugs from....Florida

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Hmmm maybe I need to post the Goldens Kornett to see if it has the correct name or Maybe I need to get Glory over here if she's up to it.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

I live in Florida and it WAS NOT ME! alhtough i have had misnamed brugs i have sent out thinking that is what they were before. of coures all my euros came from people at DG.

I didn't intend to "stir the pot" so to speak. I just thought that the flower picture posted looked a lot like the many pinks out there like Isabella, Golfito, insignis Pink etc. I meant no harm to anyone.

Donna, don't you have monika's book? there is a picture of Raffaela on page 44 and the tendrils are longer than yours.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I have the trade "still pending". Do not want to accuse anyone of anything! She got them in good faith, as I asked a lot of questions about where and who she got them from. Todate, she has not seen some of them bloom.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I have both books and it doesn't appear to be Raffaela. So far Goldens Kornett does appear to be true to name but would rather have conformation from the experts. Well I just wonder what my ?Raffaella is. She is a very vigirous grower and it is pretty. It is not insignis pink compared to looking at my insignis plant. ?Raffaela is much darker. Oh well I guess I have another beautiful unnamed brug.

Donna,
Looks like Insig Pink to me also.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Oh this is to funny.

Donna,
Just because a picture from one area is dark that's not always the case in another area. There is so may hybrids out there is getting hard to tell one from another.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Funny....not. We don't need a bunch of Frostys or Insignis Pink. Anyway, Kell has the market on those!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I'll keep her anyway. She is prettier than the Ing. Pink I already had and the ?Goldenes Kornett is quite beautiful too. So I will keep it as well. Gloria please call off your trade with that person and let her know they those 2 plants have incorrect names. We'd best stick with people we know and do a lot of begging. LOLOL!!!!!!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Ok, Donna, will be emailing you. Sure enjoyed your pictures, got me all wound up, then you went away for a week.
