Wow! Just look at that bud. Bet you hate to go away while they are all "showing off". Hope DH looks at them once in awhile!

That's worth being up at 4:23 a.m. for. Just beautiful. I know I've asked before but what camera do you use? Promise I'll write it down this time.

Beautiful Kell.

Thanks Donna. I will take another pic in 2 days to see how much it darkens though it never is as pink as Sue's looks!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, I think there is something in the air there! Your brugs are gorgeous!

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

You are the poofmaster!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Beautiful bloom! That should be something to see....pollen on Toms' face, arms and all 10 fingers. Sure hope he can save some for you.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Great picture Kell and also a great brug. I hope you get lots more blooms before leaving again.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

BEAUTIFUL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks all. I wonder who made this hybrid. It is so special!
Sue, give it a day to get pillows, it is just beautiful even white. I just love this one! Look at your tendrils. so sweet in white. Mine must open white also , I should be more observant! I am having my 3rd flush! Mine seem a lot bigger than yours but I have been fertilizing it like crazy! And I even hand spritz fertilizer on it. I have the want to be Tracey syndrome!

My camera is the Canon Powershot S100. I just love it though it is getting old and I am going to replace it with a 5 megapixel one. I love it more because it is so tiny, smaller than a cigarette pack. I am looking at cameras now trying to decide how to go. May stick with Canon for I have been so happy with this one.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

That is a great shot Kell!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Thank you, that sounds just like what I want. Your pictures are always just breath-taking. How many brugs do you have? And are they in pots or the ground. How will you care for them this winter? What is your zone? (and do you ever sleep?)

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Kell I have the Canon Pro 90 IS(image stabilizer) and it is incredible but it is only 3.1 pix (2.6 actual) It has 7 to 70mm lense with 2x and 4x digital zoom. 4x distorts the pics to much tough. It is half the price now that it was when it first came out a few years ago. Glad I wished and waited. It takes the best pics and makes a great 8 x 10 which is all most people want.

Great pic Donna, great closeup but you must have used your optical zoom to get the birdie. how are the night shots with no added light?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I use automatic so flash automatically pops up and fires. Sometimes they come out good and sometimes the color looks washes out. The camera has all kinds of settings so you can do manual if you want. My eyesight is poor so I always use automatic. One day I had turn the knob to black & white and ended up with a Blue Cardinal and a Blue Red-bellied woodpecker. It was such a shock but were very cute.
