This is one gorgeous poppy! Is it yours and if so do you have any seeds?

psilo... Thank you psilo. Yes it is my poppy, and no unfortunately I have not collected seeDs yet from them. They are suppose to bloom again in the fall, I will see if they do, and if so, perhaps I can gather some then.

OOOh would love to trade you for some if you do! I grow about 50 different varieities of poppies but I love the colour of yours :)

psilo... well then, I will do my best to save them! What colours/types do you have in your yard psilo?

well starshine. Ihave pure white going through every colour you can think of except blue and green to very dark plum. I have single flowers, semi doubles and full doubles. SOme are approx 12 inches high and some reach over 4 feet. Some are perennial and some are annuals. I only grow 2 varieites of Orientales though and they are picotee and Coral reef.

gardening is fun starshine! when i first started gardening I fell in love with hardy geraniums, because, being a complete novice they were the only things I did not kill! Then my experience grew and with it more knowledge. For years I was confined by space. But then I acquired alot of land and my thirst for the plants I always wanted to grow, grew!

Now I have large collections of hgs, poppies, aquilegias, campanulas, grasses and anything big! I love Gunnera and Darmera and now have the space to show them off at their best! I also want to plant more bog loving Iris and candalabra primulas that will lead into my wildlife pond. (when I get around to building it that is!)and I also want more Clematis too.

The thing with gardening is that there is always that next project around the cornor, that new plant that is about to open! It is a wonder and a joy and I love it!!

brightest of smiles it is fun psilo. I too started out like that, just a few plants in a yard I could finally enjoy. Moved em from the inside to the outside, and I enjoy each seasons change, and the colours that spring to life with it. My neXt goal is to redo the type of plants I have together. So that strong perenials will pick up where the bulbs fade off. It's interesting and enjoyable. yep... gotta' say... I love it too!!
