Smile, thank you.

We have about 9 or 13 kittens ( several mothers...).Most time they are outside, we have special rooms for the nights, dry and warm. I like cats all over but not in my bedroom and kitchen...:-) there are St Bernhards, lol.
They are about six weeks old.

If an old cat here is very affectionated to us at a special night and after being very nice to us she is going into the woods.....( for to die)- we do respect it. We never would prevent that catīs mind........
Cats are very specials, even eye to eye with the dead.

Its strange how cats know they are dying and choose to die elsewhere instead of at home.May go off to die..like an elephants graveyard.
This is daddy and 3 of the kids..I am keeping the white one.he is inside and quite the little sweetie!

Great kittens Kyle! I love cats.

We had one years ago that had adopted us from the street. I notice the best cats we ever have had came as adults from the street. His name was Dobycat. My DH and I just loved this cat. He was very special. He used to jump up on my bedroom window sill and knock and I would open the window and he would jump into my bed. When he got very old, he started having seizures and would get confused. He hated being kept indoors so I let him out and one day he never came home. My husband spent days searching for his body. He wanted to bury him right as he had been such a good friend to us.

A month or so later a little kitten with the identical markings as Dobycat had, jumped up on my window sill and knocked and looked in at me. I jumped up and opened the window to let him in but he disappeared. It was so odd. My husband and I were sure he had come back to say good-bye because we were in such distress over him leaving us! We never saw that kitten again.

kell, daddy cat in the pic is a lifelong stray..I'm the only person that treats him good..everyone else throws things at him.He keeps my yard free of rabbits so I feed him.He let me pet him just this week for the first time ever.He is old too.about 11 or so

Dayton, OH(Zone 5a)

Eclipse, that is really cool that he let you pet him! I hate that people can be so cruel. Isn't it rare or never that an animal hurts something for no reason?

My DS spent time with my mother this summer. While there, he & she were helping neighbors bottle feed a litter of kitties that a stray had birthed under their porch. She was carrying two litters and I don't think she had enough milk for the second litter. Anyway, DS bonded with one in particular and when I came to get him, we decided to adopt him. He has done so well in our previously dog/human only home. He's about 1 pound 4 ounces now. Here's a pix...

What a little pink beauty!! And he loves to have his picture taken.

I didnot know a cat could be pregnant with 2 litters. How do you know it is not just 1 huge liter?

Dayton, OH(Zone 5a)

Kell, I learned while I worked at Iams that dogs/cats can be impregnated by multiple "courters". I'm not quite sure how the females reproduction system works, but they must have multiple eggs that become "available" (perhaps inside their own sac?). If they are approached successfully by a male or multiple males and they have more than one egg available, they can become impregnated by multiple males. Weird, I know... I really don't know for sure how it works.

The picture that I posted is the only one where his beautiful blue eyes don't have red eye. But, you don't see the blue that much either...

What a cutie..yu can't help but fall in love with the little critters..thats why we have 2 cats now!!LOL
