soft nodding... yes it is. This year we had so many clusters on one of the plants it did not really look like a lily at all... but soooo beautiful. Then I just love flowers.. grinnin

How old is your plant? I know that it must have been a beautiful sight.

windsurfer... it is now 8 years old... and continues to surprize me with multitude of blooms each year increasing!

That sounds wonderful and I just can't get over the soft beautiful satin pink/white color, I will have this one in my garden next year. Thanks for sharing I wouldn't have found this plant or might have over looked it in a catalog.
You know how some of the photos they use doesn't show the plant in it's true beauty.

Ohhhh you will enjoy that choice over and over again windsurfer. I love that part of this place, sharing information and ideas... I have seen soooo many plants that I might not have for a long while. Just glad to share the wondrous beauty of gardening...

I know what you mean about seeing a lot of plants here, there is one draw back to that though.....I am greedy enough to want them all and only have 250 sq ft to grow them in lol.
Around here I am know as the queen of container planting, I even planted tomatoes and bell peppers upside down so I could hang them when I didn't have any room left on the ground....now that's greedy *giggle*

Oh you wouldn't believe the great deals I got on daylilies today at the daylily sale. I bought 12 dayliles plants and only spent $31.50 and here is one, just look at how big they are and notice the price. The most expensive one out of the bunch was $6.00.

AWESOME! I have noooo daylilies in my garden (yet... chuckling) That is precisely what I have been parusing for though. I like the variety, the colours, the fact that they bloom for a long period of time... ohhh yes... You got a goooood deal on that bundle... nice job windsurfer!!!

I have fallen head over hills for daylilies, the nice thing about them is that the bloom might only last for the day but most of them have a lots of buds that will continue to open for a couple weeks. Also there are some that will bloom twice a year.
It was love at first sight when I saw the one in the picture below, notice the yellow on the edges. There are some that will keep producing buds for up to three weeks, you just have to read what they say about re-blooming before you buy.

yes, I will and am being more careful about what I plant/buy. My garden is established with the basics.. but I find I am ripping things out that bore me, or reQuire constantly keeping them in line! laughing at the rebel flowers It has taken me some time, but I know what I am doing now and what I want where (for now.. laughing)

Daylilies.. ohhh yeah
