creamsickle bud

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

my first creamsickle flower. It is so big and so fat! You can feel a big lump 3/4 wAy down. I can't wait! I have SO many firSt time buds coming out. Last week I was praying they would grow fast, now this week I am praying they will grow slow! I will gone for 2 weeks and if they bloom then I will be so sad! i am playing with the idea of leaving my camera home for my DH to take pics for me............... I need a new camera!

I wish someone would change the name of this one, It makes me want to go buy ice cream! and I'm really, really trying to pretend I'm on a diet!!!

Kell, my first Creamsickle bloom was deformed. The inner skirt was all messed up. I pollinated that one. Today, the second one opened up and it is basically single with a little bit of something inside. They sure are huge blooms, single or double. I like the fragrance on this one too.
