I hsve wisteria for trade

(Zone 4b)

I have a nice section of a wisteria vine (unnamed) that has become a daughter vine with sucker roots. I'd like to trade it for something unique, anyone have any sucker saplings from apple trees? Or maybe a blackhills beauty cimifuga? Im easy.... tell me what you got!
Greta
PS I also have a nice small orange trumpet vine I dont want if anyones interested

Hi Greta, It it white or purple? I am trying to train one I have into tree form. I would like a couple more. Would prefer not to start from seed on the next ones. I have some pink bleeding hearts roots (not rooted). Pee Gee hydrangea cuttings or a pink mandivilla vine maybe?

This vine was completely cut back when I bought this home a few years back and hasnt flowered yet. I think maybe I shouldnt have offered this vine knowing so little about it, I guess its for the adventerous only!

Catbird you have mail! Greta! Plant it in another part of your yard and see what happens!! :) Good luck!

Ive been doing that, Its put off 5 or 6 10 ft leaders and I ve put them around here or there away from the clapboard siding( the reason it was originally cut down) I really have more than I need and dont have the heart to toss them. So they just continue to creep along unwanted and lonely.

Hi again,
Still no takers on this old wisteria vine but its time to dig out more of these leaders. I have 3 vines that are about 8 ft long. My house is 200 years old so I guess its just a common purple wysteria.

I'd love to have some of your wysteria. I can't get my crab apple seedlings out of the ground... I don't know if I've got any apple suckers or not, but I'll look.

What else do you like?

(Zone 4b)

i saw your post about the tree suckers recently and Ive been meaning to tell you that most trees are grafted these days so you need to chomp off the little ones or theyll grow big and kill off the grafted tree. Im not that picky about trades let me peak at your sight and Ill e mail you, mostly just happy to see the vines get a happy home. Greta
