Enjoying all your fern pics. thanks
I bought this plant at Lowes. It had the name Micsolepis strigosa 01F? Do you know what the 01F stands for. Thank you
Does not look like Palapalai.
Looks more like a Nephrolepis.
Can you show fronds and sori that match a Microlepia for this species?
Palapalai is Microlepia strigosa.

Each frond has several rows that are bipinnate.

I got a closer look of that original photo and the fronds do have pinnate, fan-shaped 'leaves' (not sure what that part of a fern is called). Certainly not a Nephrolepis. Belongs to the long-time president of the southern California fern society, so would be surprised if she was mistaken.
There is a plant on the internet that shows what you are explaining.

It would be resourceful to show that the "cultivar" has sori that match the species.
Does it look like this?

sorry, that link didn't end up showing a photo.. .but this is a plant a took a photo of many years ago, and I never saw its sori anyway. If I ever happen back to that property, I will try to check it out, but pretty sure I will not see them again.
