Another cat lover here. Down from 10 to 1 now. All gone from old age. Sassy is all I have left and she is 10 or 11. An Asian Snow Leopard Bengal and she is true to her name. Very Sassy.
Yeah, she calmed down a lot after I gave her some catnip, she didn't even flinch when I snuck off with a few brugs. I had to elbow rootdoctor out of the way though. I also am wondering....what are those purple blooms????????? they are so pretty!

Its getting late Kell--your time of night-- come out --come out where ever you are????I like that purple thing too--give us a name?--heck give us a cutting too? -I like the idea of tall dark colors up high--epecially overhead--it would seem like it would make shade even shadier, and give a sense of enclosure...
Whoever is raiding Kells garden, please take cuttings of that purple flower, it's very pretty!

I have 4 cats. The mail thief/garbage collector is Nicki, my oldest cat. And he still collects the garbage and any neigbors mail he can daily! LOL
Here he is bringing home his booty and my excuse for the mess is that it is just after a storm! LOL

He takes his work very seriously! He cries an alert as he gets closer to the front door. LOL
I am not sure which purple tree you are talking about. I do have a purple and a white Jacaranda but those are in a different place and done flowering.
The tree behind (above in the first picture) Molley is a PRINCESS FLOWER, Tibouchina urvilleana. I have several huge ones in my yard. They are a happy tree!!! Love to be pruned way back.
The far one at the other side of the courtyard is a Solanum rantonnetii 'Royal Robe'. I have several large ones of those also in my yard. They add color all spring, summer and fall!

Kell, my brother and his wife had a cat who brought socks and underwear to them as 'kills'. But they had to be dirty... he always raided the hamper or bedroom floor. My sister-in-law was horrifed one night after a party to go into the guest bathroom and discover that Tiggy had deposited several pair of her used undies in there during the party. LOL
LOL That is too funny! I would have died!
Nick used to bring home mice and birds. He is getting old and I guess he is now going after easier to catch prey. LOL. He makes that noise of come see that he used to make when he would bring us a big fat rat!

Kell, that is what I thought the purple plants/bushes/trees were, but since you grow them so big out there, I was afraid to say anything. That potato bush is gorgeous. I'm so happy with mine and my tibouchina. Both great plants. Yours are so pretty...I'm jealous.

Kell: In a couple of months, we will be eating our hearts out, when we have frozen tundra to walk on and everything will be dead looking. Nick, is just so proud bringing home his catch of the day for ya. Too, funny.
