First bloom on Ursaline x Cuba #2

The plant looks rdiculous. The Y had died back over the winter but one branch with a Y stayed. Now it's a nice sturdy truck with a silly branch sticking out at a right angle. I left it cuz it had buds and I wanted to see the bloom. The pic is it's first night to open. It looks like it's starting to get some color :)

Ecuador pink opened too so I put some pollen on it. The EP was white when I came in this evening and when I just went back out it had already turned pink. It chaned color in a just a couple of hours time.

This one is pretty too.

You wouldn't say that if you saw the whole plant - LOL! If it's worth keeping I'll have to cut it back and let it regrow from the base.

Looks darned good so far. Hope it turns out to be what you want it to be. I'd like to see it in another day or two. Could be a great color then. I thought that about one of mine and it never changed though, but I still liked it. I like the color of this one, but would like it more if it were a bit darker. I think we all have differences of opinion about what colors we like. Can't say I've ever seen a brug that I didn't like. The recurve on this one is nice. Almost looks like an apricot EP.

Do you use papar tags? What happens when they get wet?

No color change today :( I could have sworn it looked peachy last night but it was just plain ol white today... and still white tonight. Darn!

It's pretty. I think you should keep it.

I'll keep her to the end of the season anyway. Don't know as I want to winter her again. Maybe she'll surprise me and earn her spot in the house before the winter comes.

I hope so. I am desperately trying to find people to take my poor brugs that I have not room for. I am even leaving them at the curb for curbside pick up!

When people come to visit here I say "take a few brugs". If I catch their heads turned, I put them in the car. Funny, they've started setting the alarm so I get caught in the act!

She has color! Not much ... but a little.

Since its the first flowers I think I would tend to hold on the this one! It is showing a hint of color and I do like the tendrils!

On my monitor it is a beautiful apricot color. Am I seeing it wrong? And I have brand new monitor also! It is lovely Sue! I love the recurve and long tendrils.

The second flower opened yesterday and this one turned color over night. The tendrils have those cute curlie-Qs.
