My, what a wonderful daylily! I thought it was a glad at first glance with all those blooms! I've never seen one like that with all those different colors. Tell us more about it. Thanks.
I love this one!! A real looker-please give the growing
zones for it.
Beautiful!
WOW is all I can say. I obviously am hanging out in the wrong daylily stores. where can I buy this one Poppysue. I need it.
Gorgeous daylily. I love the bicolors.
Unfortunately this one is not mine! I photographed it in my girlfriends garden. It is a purdy one!
Are you familiar with the Eureka Daylily Reference Guide?
http://www.gardeneureka.com It lists several sources for Karen Sue: Amador Flower Farm, Cedarthorn Gardens, Nancy's Daylilies and Perennials, Rock Bottom Farms, Ltd, and Top O' Hill Daylily Farm. you can get addresses, prices and policies from the above website.

The link didn't work. Here it is http://www.gardeneureka.com/
Thanks, poppysue - I think it's fixed now.
I do not know if I am using that site wrong, but I find it overwhelming. And most of the stores have no pictures, just lists. I went to the American Hemerocallis Society and they had no pictures that I could find either.
Anyone know of a good picture site so I could make my want list from? I want a few very special lilies, rebloomers that are very floriferous with huge, colorful blooms.
Kell, Marietta Gardens has a nice website. http://www.mariettagardens.com/
Dune Lane Nursery also

Thanks all. I will try the Eureka Daylily Reference Guide again this morning sinc eI am not so grumpy in th emorning! LOL
From your description of it Marty Jo I must have missed where you do a search for specific lilies.
LOL Marietta Gardens is very expensive! I would really want to see in person a daylilly I spent so much for before I bought it.
I found this picture of this one. Poppysue, yours looks so much nicer but I guess it is the same plant.

Kell,
I don't think you were using it wrong. It's more for when you know a specific daylily you want (like Karen Sue, for instance) but don't know who sells it or what it costs. And it's best used in conjunction with the printed Eureka Guide. Sorry if I misled you.
Marty
Ensata has Karen Sue for $5
http://www.ensata.com/daylily_f-l.htm They're a good company to buy from.
I am going to have to devote several hours to this enterprise. They are so fantastic! Thanks for the links. I just love looking at all the pics. I wish I lived on a huge farm.
