maya or not?

Susie this is the plant that I talked to you about the other night. You can't really tell by the photo (and a not so good one at that)but the blooms are starting to turn tangerine and by this time tommorow will be completely that color.I bought this plant at a nursery about an hour or so from here. It was in a gallon pot and the sales people told me that it had yellow flowers so I bought it for a whopping $8. I looked at the pic that Ludger has posted of maya and mine appears to be the same. Leaves, flowers, everything is the same so i'm thinking that this plant may be maya.

here's another photo of a flower I have blooming today. I know it's not a brug but thought you all would enjoy seeing it. This pic isn't that good either. I'm still kind of camera retarded so please excuse the off centerness and bad color in this one! {:]Oh I forgot to include the name. This is hibiscus Fifth Dimension from Logee's

Gosh David, I've got a kink in my neck from looking. LOL!

Looks like Maya to me. That sure is a different looking hibiscus. The color is different from any I've seen.

Sorry Shirley, that's my fault. I forgot to flip the pic before I posted it. Hopefully this one will save some necks from aching! (LOL)

Much better! I like a plant the grows upright.
Sure looks like Maya, don't know about the bloom, is it peach or white?

Hibiscus,it starts out snow white. Then it starts to turn slight orange on the part of the corolla between the tendrils and by the end of the second night it is completly orange or tangerine

Looks like Maya and sounds like the way the color changes on it too.

I just looked at the thread that poppysue has of hers and mine is identical. I see a small portion of an unopened bud on hers and mine looks like that before they open. The tendrils are green and the corolla part is yellow then the flower opens white and changes to its final color
