CLOSED: CLOSED: Amorphophallus Konjac for trade
If anyone is interested in these Amorphophallus Konjac, let me know. I am also interested in Daylilies, Hosta, Brugs, perennial that I don't have. Let's Trade! Cathy
Hey Cathy---
Been a while since I have seen you post at either site. Hope you are doing well. The two Amorphophallus konjac you sent me back in April did a fine job for me but one died back too early so I went to check on it and for some reason (probably all the rain we have had) it had rottened. It really was weird because the other one was near it and it was fine. I need to find some plants to offer you for a couple more if you have them to spare. I really like them. Let me know what you want or looking for in plants and I will see what I may have to offer you. Thanks again, CB
Don't know if many are familiar with this plant (I just learned of it), but at maturity, you will never see anything like it. Big, variegated bark, and shaped like a umbrella on top. I have 2 babies that I am growing on, waiting impatiently for the bulbs to grow larger. Talk about a conversation piece! Wow!

Can you tell me about the temperatures needed to grow this plant?
This plant will do fine in your zone, it's good for zones 7-9, although I have had it come back here in a mild winter for me. I will take a photo of my large konjac and post it this afternoon. Thanks, Cathy
Great, if it will live outside here, I would love to trade for one.
I brought mine in last winter and it was doing great, until we went out of the country at Christmas and it evaporated all the water it was sitting in and never recuperated!
