While I am sitting here bloomless I was wondering how much my brugs have grown. Well I ran across this pic from the 8th of July.

Here is the same bed today. These are the 150-200 seedlings and and a couple of small rooted cuttings that I have received from many people here. Looks like they have grown!!

I agree that you will need some room to hold them over. Hope fall holds off and you can see bloom before frost. They are looking great.

LOL You all are too funny. Yeah, I look at them too and wonder what the heck I am going to do with them all! For now the plan is to bring them all into the garage. I told hubby we would need to set up an area in the back of the garage for them. Whenever I find the time and enough pots, I may start digging them, potting them and putting them back into the ground so it will be easier to drag them all in. I figure I'll only be about 4 months pregnant by the time they need to come in, so it should not be too much work. :) All the named ones are in other gardens and are 3-4 feet tall so I guess they will get the same treatment. LOL

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Wow, you got work! I like JT's idea (and Cala's?) of cutting off a 4' stem, sicking a bunch in the same pot till Spring and have instant trees to plant.

Can you tell me how you're terracing that hill? Cinder Blocks? I just can't seem to get my hill under control!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Hey Miss Viola! Yep, cinder blocks. I dug out the weeds and grass and levelled it off. Then I went back and added a second row of blocks and back filled with manure and other organic stuff and tilled it all in. From time to time is shifts but it is easily manageable. It has been like that for about eight years.

Crossville, TN

Chele....send them to me...I can kill them for you...Jo

No Chele, she will do surgery on them!!

Or give them a deadly washing! LOL
