Angel's Trumpet 'Tropical Sunset'

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

The colors are very dark and there is a sheen to the bloom. I think one of the better brug blooms. Say that 3 times fast. My first bloom so I will have to wait to judge it on its flush size.

Common name: Angel's Trumpet 'Tropical Sunset'

Wonderful, beautiful, Kell! I am just getting some brugs going. Crestedchik sent me some cuttings and looks like most of them will root. I just hope I can get them through the winter.

Thanks Joann. I probably owe you some also. I have so many 4 inch pots around here but I forget who I promised them all to...LOL they will survive on a window sill inside your house.

Just might do that.Last year that darn surprise early frost got the ones you had sent me. One was Charles something or other.

It doesn't look real. The sheen makes it look like the flowers made from leather. WOW!

Thanks guys. I think this is my favorite photo I have ever taken!

Kelly, I am new to this site (and to brugs), but your photos are absolutely stunning. They just make my heart pound. I guess I'll be planting some of those. Thanks!

I have a new bud about to open this weekend so I will take some more shots. My favorite subject this month!
