Icky Kitty Medicine

My husband took our 4 month old kitten Skittles to the vet yesterday for blood in his stool. It was the second time we saw it so we figured it was time to have him checked over. Well, $70 later we learned absolutely nothing except that we feed him the right food, he's doing well, and that he could be a "stressed kitten". That to me says he'll fit right in with our household. lol They also gave us some medicine to give him to ease the "runs" the poor little guy had. Well, let me tell you guys something...if Skittles wasn't stressed before, he sure was when my husband gave him this medicine. Once you got through the challenge of giving him the meds, he runs around the house like he's possessed by the Devil himself, foams at the mouth, gags, drools, and quite frankly looks and sounds worse than he did before he went to the vet. What an experience!! Thankfully he still seems to think we're okay for now since he slept with us.
