Mercer, PA(Zone 5a)

mystic; Susie sent me 'First Day' and I just know it'll be as purddy as yourn! Especially since it's one of the ones I got from her that I put in a tire planter!! Right Susie??

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

My po po brug living in a foreign land in a tire planter!

Mercer, PA(Zone 5a)

Susie; I thought I told ya that all of the brugs in that tire planter told me they loved their new rubber house! ;~)

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

TC mine came from Susie too so yours will be like it. Funny in all the tire planters I saw of yours I didn't see any with brugs in it. lol

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Very pretty and I bet you are really enjoying all those blooms Peggy. I love the setting in which you live. It looks so peaceful and quiet.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I look at you land and think of all the brugs you can fit in there! I bet by next year Susie has filled it all up for you!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Its cute!

Thanks cc!!
I'm makin another tire planter directly, one with a "pedestal", the rim is still attached to the tire and it will serve as a pedestal for the tire planter!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Thanks everybody. Kell I don't have that much land wish I did. As far as Susie filling it with plants she already has heck most of my yard is stuff from Susie at one time or another and not just the brugs. Barb yes that is what is left of my veggie garden this year. It's not been a good garden year. TC yes I did ask for it didn't I? Did you run right out and plant those? lol Hey now that planter needs all the pretty little flowers painted in it like your others. Crestedchick I think First Day is your cross isn't it? I love it you did good.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

TC, I have to admit, that's a good idea, will keep the lawn mower from bumping up against the stem. It does need some little flowers planted at the bottom though(to hide the tire, lol)

Mercer, PA(Zone 5a)

Oh no don't wanna hide my tire planter work of art Suzie! I bet some allysum would look rite purrdy growin at the bottom of it tho, it wouldn't hide my planter either! :~)

Peggy; Should I git some more stuff from Suzie so's I kin fill up more tire planters with it??! ;~)

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

TC you need to put some coleus in there. I bet if you ask her real nice she would probably help ya out.lmbo You ain't right! lol

Mercer, PA(Zone 5a)

Peggy; coleus would look nice in there but that spot gets full sun and I'd be fraid they'd burn up.
Y'all see that little plant on the right with one leaf? It's a tiny piece of my 'Frances Williams' hosta that came off when I was dividin it for my hosta secret trade. That little piece actually had a fair amount of roots on it and I just stuck it in there ta see iffin it'd take holt. Guess what? The little whipper snapper is growin! Now I'm gonna havta move it in the shade somewheres. Who'd a thought that little ol dinky thang woulda took holt and started growin?!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Wow Peggy, your pretty pink pic made picture of the day!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)
