OK, I am always scheming how to make money with the animals. And I know people do rent out their goats for brushy pastures, etc. to clean them up. So I'm thinking my billy goat, Baby, could be rented out to prune rose bushes! Sounds pretty cool huh? Right over the fence and in the pasture by the yard are some old rambler (I think) rose bushes. They had been in a terrible state of neglect and then along comes Baby the Goat. Hmmm rose bush snacks! After a nice pruning they have never looked better. Little tiny pink rose blossoms all thanks to Baby. OK, so Baby stays here , I would worry. If I could just figure out how to keep him out of the yard and eating the laundry!
Another busy day planned , running running. Yesterday we worked on Grandmother-in-Law's Yard. Then off to a neighborhood fish fry. That was kinda neat. Big kettles of frying fish, cole slaw, baked beans, potatoe salad, yum. Most of the people were neighbors north of us, but hubby never forgets anyone and I met some new people.
So off to check the critters and then to St. Louis. A graduation party to go to and will get to see my little Grandson.
