Welcome Sewmom, I'm thinking you must be Supermom to have time to sew and garden with 6 kids and a hubby to take care of. We know you'll love Davesgarden, it's a great place, I hope you have a little time left to spend here. Introduce yourself and give your aunt a hug, she probably told you about this website, right?

Hello to all! what a warm welcome! yes, my aunt did tell me about this site and i love it! so many nice people - i don't have my own page yet, but i would like very much to join. DH and I live in Scotts Mills (about 4 miles east from Lenjo) with our 6 kiddos (5 boys-1 girl). they range in age from 14 down to 7; we homeschool them all and they are a great help for us as DH is a T10 paralytic and wheelchair-bound. Our faith has helped us through his accident and made us stronger - we celebrated our 15th anniversary yesterday and counted our blessings as The Good Lord has been so good to us, in spite of the crosses He sends us, for that is when He is nearest. i helped my aunt and uncle this summer on the berry-picker, so i got to see all her beautiful flowers - i just hope someday my garden will be half as nice. i love to sew, knit, crochet, bake, read and do word puzzles, aside from gardening. i have a couple nice beds going, but they sustain a bit of neglect, as i can't get to them every day. i have a purple dahlia that is taller than i, and is blooming strong! i am so happy as he was a volunteer from one i thought had died last year. i love all the info i can glean from others, so i can know more about what and where i'd like to put things. well, i have taken up enough time and hope to get to know some of you better.

Welcome to this site. I just joined myself and seems like this is the most awesome site to be.

I love gardening and just crazy about calas, lilies, roses and so many more.

You will feel the same warm welcome that I received today, it's wonderful.

Happy day to you. Hugs sharron2
