Peacock bit pod

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

My peacock ,which loves to go around snipping everything, snipped off about 3/4 of an inch of a creamsickle pod, which should be ripe next month.
No ,he didn't eat it,its laying on the ground under it.

My question is,should I leave it alone,nu-skin it,or try to nu-skin the pod tip back on the pod......

by the way ,the seeds I can see are lite brown,so excited!

CC, just dust a bit of fungicide powder on it and leave it open. Watch for gnats that might get in there and lay eggs, but that should be your only problem.

Those darn peacocks! Happens in my neighborhood all the time. All is well, all is peaceful. All my European Brugs are setting pods, then along comes a darn peacock! I swear I am ready to give up!
