Bonnie, I must confess I am impressed with this cross of yours. Is it my imagination, or is this one getting darker?

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

FABULOUS!!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Eric, it got darker:) wish I'd pollinated it, a moth did and it's growing fast! LOL!! I will definitely get all the rest.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

how lucky can you be, to not have a white suavolens for your very first.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

lol!! feeling blessed with my brugs this year. All from this cross are now taller than me with Y's!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Way to go B, you had a good teacher.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

a lot of them:)

FSH, TX

I know what you mean Arlene, so very many of my first seedlings were all white. I almost choked when I saw my first seedling in color. It most certainly does help to have people like Monika here with us to help guide us in the right direction. Still, I like that so many of us are trying new crosses and not simply repeating those that have been made before. Its the only way were going to have valuable new editions and not simply repeat frosty pink look alikes and such. Me personally, I can't wait to see which ones Bonnie finally decides on to name. I'm sure she is going to have more than just a few from last years crosses and many she will work with no doubt as well.

TiG. that is a beautiful pink, I hope in time to have something like that in a seedling. This morning even tho it is terribly hot here, 1o4 today, however I was working in the shade earlier this morning, I transplanted my first 18 seedlings, not from my crosses tho. I am hoping to be able to make some crosses myself this summer if they ever bloom. Have only had a couple of blooms this summer. Donna

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Cala, I know the cross of my seedling, I've been growing it for months, the moth pollinated the first flower on my seedling :) I just worded it funny I guess.

tiG, you tape your crosses don't you?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

the ones I make I do:) got the pollen for this cross from Susie last year, so thanks again Susie:) I have bunches more from this cross, hope they get even better, but I was tickled 'pink' to get color first time:)
I get so excited about seeing a first night bloom I forget to pollinate it, get the pollen, all that stuff we're supposed to do! LOL!!

You can see the Pink Beauty influence in the upturned corolla edge.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I just wish it wasn't buried on the inside of the huge seedling bed. it's very precarious going in there anymore, many are 5' tall or more, and I'm worried about breaking limbs every time.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

I think you had this one hidden to well yesterday!! It is truly spectacular, congrats Mom!!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Its very pretty. You are the queen of Pinks, I have to agree.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

PJ, this one bloomed last week, it was already gone:) monika, I'll settle for being one of the ladies in waiting:) LOL!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Bonnie, it is very pretty. I've seen so many new ones this year that I like WAY too much. My plans were to cut back, but they are becoming very iffy now. Great picture.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Sorry if I have lost anything....:-)

did you pollinate it?

It looks like a great motherbrug.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no, but will the next time. A moth tried with the first flower, but I took it off today.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Wish you much luck!!!

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)
