That's a beautiful tree. Would that particular variety grow in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area?

It will grow in either of those areas IFF: it doesn't get too hot and humid in Texas (protect from heat over 95F, and high humidity all year long will kill it off) AND: it never gets below 27F. And it gets LOTs of water. Then it will grow in eihter of those areas. Good luck.

What a wonderfull palm, if grown from seed, how many years would it take to get to this size?
i have seedlings, 2 leaves, after 10 years, how tall should it be? and will it have a trunk?

Here in So Cal 10 years from a 2 leaf seedlig will give you a palm maybe just starting to make a trunk
