TRADE TRACKING

(Zone 4b)

Im trying to figure out a good way to stay ahead and organized of trades that I make with people, so far so good, but whats to keep me from forgetting someone? Anyone have any suggestions or tips to keeping track of all my deals?

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Hi Greta - have you checked the Trade Tracker?

Greta, I used TradeTracker for the first 2 years and it kept me organized.

I've done few trades since then and have gotten lazy, which I should NOT do! For example, if next year I want to know who got raspberries from me, it should be in my TradeTracker.

Try it, it's quite easy to use, and sends automatic emails for you (which can be customized).

greta, i use the trade tracker too. it is a great tool give it a try.

I've just started trading, and would be so lost without the trade tracker. And you get to put little notes, like if a person sent extras or what not.

Very cool.

But, how do you 'gently' remind someone that they still owe you a trade?

I'd be so afraid of hurting someone's feelings, especially if something happened that the "trade" was put on the back burner?

Melissa, here's a primer on trading, in case you haven't had a chance to read through it yet: http://davesgarden.com/trading_primer/ - I think it'll help you with some of the etiquette questions.

Thanks Terry! I did read it before I did any trading. I'll revisit it!
