Sometimes I think I must have a sponge for insides. I always have a lot of fluid retention, sometimes much more and sometimes just enough to aggravate me. I know some of my meds affect this, so I must accept it. But when I need to know about my "real" weight, it's frustrating. I measure, and that is a little help, but when I retain as much as 8 pounds of fluid in a day, lose part of it, gain some back, it's difficult to know how effective a diet is.
That said, I lost a half inch almost uniformly in the past week. Maybe walking up and down the rocky steep hill to the house I was working on was a help. It seemed like every day I had to carry in several bags or boxes of something. Then came the time to remove my supplies and the unused items. I must have made ten trips up that hill, fully loaded. Seriously! My shorts fit a little better today. Or is this the fat pair?
