Great photo Kell! Beautiful!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

That is a great shot. Hope you will post a picture when she gets all her color. Those long tendrils are the best.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

turning into one of my favorites this year.........mines budding again after the pods ripened.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Brugie, it was pinker! Now as it ages it has white streaks. Very odd. Maybe the weather? Here is a better pic of the streaking. The last flush did not do this.

It is my favorite, I think Kyle. If it were darker like L'Amour it would be unbeatable. The shape is so elegant. And it seems easy in every way.

kell that one almost looks aerodynamic (sp?) I like the tayloredness (sp?) of the bloom, ---its not so fru fru--*course I can do fru fru too* lol

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Kell, those tendrils are amazing on that one. I bet you get more color in the next set of blooms. I can't wait for mine to grow and bloom. I hope it will look like yours. I got mine from Susie, but it might be a little different in my warmer climate and high humidity. It will be interesting to find out.

Tucson, AZ(Zone 9b)

Hi all you lucky ladies! Where could I get one of these plants??? Are they bulbs? I am really getting interested in learning about these, they are georgeous? Does anyone know how they would do in the desert??

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Is this one still light or did it darken up Kell?

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

I like it, can't wait for mine to bloom. Have buds, so it want be too much longer.

Hi LittleShima. No not bulbs, but if you get a cutting they root rather easily. There will be cuttings available as time goe son here.

Yes it did Cala, it got darker and then would get white streaked then darker again. This one really changes every day, the color and the shape.

Larry you are in for a real treat.

Beautiful Kell. I love long tendrils too.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks Y'all!!! You are so nice. I stole the black background from Barb. It really sets them off!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Rosamond is a great subject for the camera. I can't wait for summer and blooms. Had to bring this one back up for some of the new people.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Hmmmm ..*note to self 'look at 'da date dummy*
whew!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I didn't care about the date, just think this is one beautiful brug and a great photo.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Rosamond was my favorite brug to photograph. It has so many looks!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I consider Rosamond and Rosalie as the best out of this cross. In my eyes, Rosamond has one fault which is her strong growth but her huge flowers are worth to tolerate the growth.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Have many of you photos Kell as a screensaver at work. Gets lots of comments ... even from the guys. Love it.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Monika, is Roslie as fast a grower as Rosamond? I found that Rosamond just gets huge in no time but the flowers are wonderful, and all season long. Rosabelle has really shown off this year too, one of Susie's seedlings bloomed very late last year for me, I got it in June when we all went to Biloxi, it was in a cellpack, I quickly moved it up to a two gallon pot, and it bloomed twice in Sept. It was alot like Rosabelle. I hope it starts early this year, very pretty.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks so much Deb! You are so sweet to say that!

I have never seen Rosalie in person but now I am dying to if it is as good as Rosamond.

I have a Rosamond alley tree that must be 16 feet. It is huge with a huge canopy of at least 6 feet. I didn't realize it was inherent in Rosamond, I was thinking it was because I was such a good brug grower! LOL!!

I am going to cut it way back and try to get it to be more dense. When it bloomed last year I was in heaven. I tried and tried to get a good pic of it but I just couldn't!

I fell in love with Rosabelle also Tracey. It is so soft looking.

Kell, for Petes sakes how do I get on your "privileged people list"? Please at least give me a hint when will you be pruning this tree...lol

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Has anyone had trouble wintering Rosamond? I get a lot of die back on mine. Last year half of the initial Y died ... this year it looks like the whole Y has died back even though I kept it in more light :( It's still alive but I'm a little disgusted with it. I wanted a great big tree this summer!
