First bloom and...

I almost missed it!! I have been watching this big hugh brug that I have down in the corner of lot and the buds on it are soooo close to blooming they are even sticking out the bottom of the buds..
I went out this morning to see if it had bloomed yet and disappointed as I was I turned to come back and decided to check the other burgs for "small" buds....Boy was I totally surprised to see this bloom! The bud had hid from me the whole time, but the bloomed flower couldn't hide !
Strange thing is, when I lifted it up to take the pic it was almost like a 2 or 3 day old bloom that was wilting. So I guess I didn't catch it in time to get the firm stiff bloom.

Actually that is purple fountain grass. Always wanted the purple majesty though.

I have seeds coming,I am not sure if they come true from seed but I plan on trying,will keep you in mind!

That is a nice dark pink Mollybee, which one is it? Just think if all your blooms are as good as this one you will be a happy brugger.

The tag said V Ecuador it came with a bunch of cuttings I got from Larry last fall. His screen name just left my brian! hmmmm now I gotta remember it so I can write him and tell him about the bloom.

Girl you know it!! Last year all I had was one white bloom and then another plant with yellowish orange blooms on it. I was hooked then! But this pink one has really done me in!!
