tomden, they take winter care in your zone, you would have to overwinter inside,it is not too difficult, they like a dormancy period,in a cool dark basement or garage, well worth the effort!Welcome to Daves!

Denise, welcome to Daves Garden and the brug forum. Hope we will see you here often. If you stick around this group, you will soon be addicted to brugs and don't worry, they are fairly easy to winter over. Much easier to take cuttings and winter them over though. They don't take up as much space.

Welcome tomden! Which pink and peach were you thinking about?

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

They grow in zone 3 very well. Mine spend the winter in
the dinning room or in the basement where they die back
and come back from the roots. The ones in the dinning room
tend to sulk and drop alot of leaves so they get decorated
with the appropriate ornaments for the different holidays-
helps them blend in better. The growing tips keep producing
new leaves but the plants really slow down.

Some years I can put them out early in May but this year
the warm nights were slow in coming so they didn't go out
until the second week of June.

Hibiscus, Please, do tell the winterize. Thankyou all for the warm welcome. Where can I acquire these? Denise
