Can I do this?
My melons in the garden did terrible and are very small plants still....and frost is a month and a half away.
I found some plants a store today and want to put them in a hanging basket,12 inch,and move it to the GH in august.I figured I could put the melons in a sling when they form....if they form......it has blossoms on it now,plus the doors would be open durring the day for the bees to get in and pollinate.....

I would give it a try. You can use old pantyhose to cradle the squash once they form. It's gonna take a lot of watering to keep up with the growth of the fruit, but if you can keep up with that it just might work.
