Well it's about time! LOL

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Two hundred and something brugs out there and I finally have buds! LOL This is also the only one with a Y. It actually is working on it's third set of Y's. I guess it is about seven feet tall. This is the seedling I got from Brugie last spring. The first bloom was white. The second set of four blooms had a pale pink blush. Waiting to see....

LOL Nice cheering squad. That is only one of four branches. They all have several buds.

Michele, I'm glad it is finally getting ready to bloom again. Pristine, a sister, has bloomed twice and getting ready for the third bloom. I love it when it is full of blooms and so tall that I can see up into them without having to bend over. Kind of hard to reach for a good smell though. Congrats. Can't wait to see this one bloom in pink, even if it might be light. Want me to send you some EP pollen so you can maybe get more pink into one?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I blame it all on you Brugie. Um, I mean I owe it all to you! LOL How long does pollen store in the freezer? I have some Cala sent me but it has been in there a year, in the original vial, never thawed. If you have it to spare, I'd definately give it a go. I'd try anything you think would be a good cross. :) And vice versa. I just hope it shows the pink outside in the heat. The time it blushed, I had just brought it in.

Pollinating, propagating, it's all good! LOL Now to find one of those teeny, tiny paint brushes. :) I have also just found out another propagation attempt of mine was successful. (so who's paying attention?)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Chele, I just bought kid brushes at K-Mart, the ones 5 in a pack for 99 cents. Then I cut them so they are short.

Great foliage. Don't you have bugs in OH? My leaves are being chewed by cats and slugs.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Chele you have 200 brugs planted and are just getting buds. Oh my heart goes out to you. Just wait before long they will all be blooming and you neighbors will be wondering if you are making perfume in the kitchen at night.
