Pink Favorite in bloom again

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

The blooms on PF are huge and the bush is hanging down to the ground. This variety never gets very tall 4'

I like this one too.

I love all these pink brugs. Pretty one.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Is this the one with weak walls? It is just great looking!!!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Kell, yes it has weak walls--it was 6:30 in the am when photo was taken. Still cool enough to look great. I like it very early in am or late in pm.

Pretty in pink!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Mine has lots of buds. Now I wish I had not planted it in the ground in full sun. May have to put up an umbrella. Very pretty Barb.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Its typical for Pink Favorite. My shrub stands now in Italy, near Meran in the alps. They have a high humidity there, much fog and telling by the pictures, it likes it much better than in my (cold) place.

FSH, TX

I like the blend of versicolor and suaveolens traits on this one. Very nice indeed.

Does this variety go straight from a white bud directly to the pink, or does it gradually go through a yellow stage and then to pink? I know that FP goes from white-yellow-pink, but do other pink varieties do the same?

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Bward, Your pink is gorgeous. My new Pink Beauty has no sign of buds yet. I am getting very impatient. Donna

Don't know how this big pink beauty slipped under my radar, very nice, looks huge!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Root, they are huge blooms. It would probably do well in your cooler climate.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Lovely Barb.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Barb, mine has a lot of buds now, but I'm worried about the temps. We will have a good week this week, but have had many days in the mid nineties and high humidity. I was pretty stupid and planted this one in the ground in full sun. May have to install some shade cloth. I really like this bloom even if it isn't an aurea.
