And today's. The yellow is still there but can't see it well.

(Mind you the flash keeps going off and I don't know how to turn it off--is it the light assist? My flash says off!)

One more of different blooms, so you can see that all the flowers are like this.

I'll try again in the morning to see if I get one without the darn flash!

BTW--is one characteristic of the Suaveolens the minty fragrance?
My S. Pink just opened and smells the same!

All I can see: You are growing a healthy suavolenshybrid.

Good fertilized, good shape. One day you will have more brugs.

I have not noticed such deeply lobed flowers before. Looks special to me!

Violabird,
I had had a Jamican Yellow do something almost like that....all the flowers grew like this (see picture below) for a few months then all of a sudden it got normal.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

The last time I posted this you wanted to know, quote:
"It looks very different! Are the yellow stripes staying put?"

They are but the flash isn't doing it justice!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

lol Kell I have some purplish blue veins marbled with celulite, but it took about 30 growing seasons for them to show up lololol

Vbird,
The only thing I could think of was the heat....when the weather was cooler this one never bloomed that way.
