Just wanted to thank you for saving the day again Kimberley :)

I was having terrible trouble with Hotbar, a spyware unmentionable. I stupidly clicked on it by mistake and it took over my computer. I was suddenly getting spam and popups that I'd never experienced before and I then read that it keeps a watch on your surfing and logs your activities so that they can send you the 'right' junk LOL

I already had Adaware, but that couldn't quite get rid of it. The bit that was left would communicate with it's HQ as soon as I went online and reinstall itself again.
Thanks for suggesting downloading Spybot Kimberley. That got rid of most of it. It suggested I ran it on booting my puter. That worked - almost. When I ran Adaware again it detected 2 folders and successfully deleted them (fingers crossed lol)

Whew!
Spybot also detected some things Adaware had missed and I swear my puter is now running faster and cleaner!
