wood rose

Marshfield, WI(Zone 4b)

Is there anything special a person has to do to get a wood rose to bloom indoors, i.e., fertilizer, light, water requirements? Actually, has anyone EVER gotten a wood rose to bloom indoors?

I have one growing outside, but have read that it takes two years to bloom. I will have to save the tuber and grow it inside, hopefully, until next year. They like lots of heat, moisiture, and humidity. I can't say that I'm crazy about the foliage. Was expecting it to go crazy, but it hasn't. Time will tell.

I love the leaves everyone thinks it is something else, mine is going nuts, you were right they are fast growers, will repot and overwinter, hoping for blooms next year.
