So Susie do you not have this one or is yours different? See they are getting darker today.
I will post the pods later when I get home from work. I am so late. It is beautiful in all its stages. From bud to fully open.
And it sucker slike crazy so alley trees are easy to get.
Susie, I can see this up your long driveway...... and if you get it darker it would be unbeatable for beauty!
I will measure one also when I get home, they are HUGE!!!
Thanks Ihuges. Rosamond
Gorgeous! I would be late for work too. I wouldn't even go in today, would call in "sick".

You know for a bloom like that Kell, I'd write you an excuse for the rest of the week for work!!--"to whom it may concern---Kell will be unable to come in to work for the duration of the week as circumastance at home make it impossible for her to leave. Please do not hassle her or I will be forced to picket your place of business on her behalf."-------print it out Kell its worth a shot? lol cheryl
It's beautiful Kell.
Larry
Yep! Kell me too! I love this one, it just stands out and grabs you, you have to take notice.
kell, mine hasn't bloomed for a week or two..but the flowers are big and a pretty shade of pink/salmon
I gotta make a list of what I have cause I'm asking myself "do I have that?" and if I don't I gotta get it......
Kyle, is this the one you got from me? If it is, for me it bloomed pink. I sure would like to get a start back from you sometime. I lost mine over the winter.

It certainly is a beautiful one. I hope to see mine bloom so I can see this lovely one in person.
Wow! You have beautiful blooms, then pods also. I'll help.
LOL Gloria, I am now looking a these Rosamond pods in a whole different way since I saw Tracey's new hot pink!
GROW LITTLE PODS GROW!
Just no words left to say. I hope that this fall there will be cuttings and seed pods to share, and I would love to be on your list.
Can someone tell us the proper way to measure a bloom. Do you start at the tip of the calyx where the pundicle thingy is? How do you measure the width?
