Insig Pink

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I don't remember this one being so dark. It opened last night and is already a this deep pink. I'd like it a lot better if the color was this dark all the time.

That is so pretty! Do you think the cool weather has anything to do with the color? Would like them to be that dark all the time.

I dunno.. seems like last year my plants all bloomed late when it was cool too. Maybe cuz it's been very humid here. Beats me!!

It's really dark Poppysue. It would be nice if it stayed that color!

Sue,
I've never seen insignis pink flower before. Does the flower go from white to pink or is there a yellow stage in between? Still learning.

Its a really pretty flower!

Great color Sue. Hope it stays that way for you with the rest of the blooms.

So Sue is it cool where you are or hot? I love the color! This is why I don't get bored with brugs, they change daily!

Our weather has been wishy-washy. This last week hasn't been real hot but it's been very humid. Nights are cooling off down into the 60s.

Hi Sue, mine bloomed like this at the beginning of spring, but then when the temps got back up they faded again, I think you are right the cooler temps have something to do with it. They were also darker inside the greenhouse.
